From his website: I'm a man on a mission to rescue people from the awful dieting industry. I am sick and tired of people struggling on low calorie diets and meal replacement shakes.
I created this plan to educate people and give them the knowledge they need to get a lean, healthy strong body without going hungry.
The 90 Day SSS Plan has already worked for over 100,000 people all over the world and I truly believe this plan will transform your life and the way you see nutrition forever. source: https://www.thebodycoach.com/about.asp
This is an absolutely wonderful recipe book! My Mom and I have lost a lot of weight just simply by changing our usual meals for meals from here. I'd definitely recommend this for sure. Healthy food that tastes absolutely great, with actual results shown in the book!
Joe Wicks is a complete fake. He doesn't care about anyones fitness or health, all he cares about is the amount in his bank account.
There's next to NOTHING healthy about any of his recipes. Just look at all the fat, eggs and meat, it's not healthy at all. Read more here http://veggieathletic.com/joe-wicks/
When I started healthy and clean eating to help my weight loss, I ordered Joe Wick's lean in 15 from the library I work in. There's always a big waiting list for them but I wasn't waiting too long. These two books have amazing recipes in them. Healthy but not boring.
I looked through these books in the space of a month and I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes healthy cookbooks can be boring and make you want to give up on being healthy.
The Lean in 15 books not only look great but have some brill recipes in them and the work out section at the back in very helpful.
I loved browsing through both books and got some great ideas for healthy dinners and some healthy deserts as well.
lovely cookbook! easy, quick, and healthy high-protein, high-fat recipes, with lots of testimonials about his clients losing a shit ton of weight and reversing their illnesses. Will recommend this to my patients as it has some easy at-home workouts to follow along.
I am just looking for some easy meal prep recipes to pack for work and this just about does the job!
I am regularly using the recipes out of this book for our household. Its a great book and so useful. I think Joe Wicks is an awesome guy and really is good at what he does. With usual information about nutrition and exercise he has definitely helped me make healthier choices.
A good book to explain about nutrition and how to find the best type to eat. Includes A lot of healthy recipes for pre and post workouts as well as for rest day... along with a good illustrated workout plans.
Famous for encouraging people to keep fit from his balcony and living room during the covid pandemic! Joe wicks doesn’t do it for me but that didn’t stop me buying three of his books!
His recipes lack flavour and substance for me which is why he is fit and trim and I am not!
I reread the first book before starting this and I’ve come to appreciate it more. Good recipes, good interval training plans, and a chatty writing style with attractive photos.
I've bought both of Joe's books so that I could mix and match the recipes. There is a fabulous selection of recipes ranging from quick makes to more complex meals. The information at the front of the book is incredibly interesting, and the work out (HIIT) section at the back in very helpful. The Lean in 15 Heroes section has inspired me to sign up for the 90 Day SSS Plan.
This is the second joe wicks book and I loved the first and this one is just as good, trying out all the recipes which again are really easy to cook and delicious!!
