So I was chillin' at the laundromat yesterday, waiting for my towels to dry, and decided to read one of those free, kinky shorts that I seem to be constantly downloading on my Kindle. Laundromat porn - who's down? This girl.
It starts off okay. Gretchen is trying to expand her non-profit biz by soliciting multi-billion dollar companies for some chedda'. (That's slang for money, y'all.) It doesn't seem to go so well until Mr. Gordon slides her a contract. One of those "be my sex slave and I will give you all the money you want" contracts.
Side note: Where the hell is MY contract? I mean, all the other girls are getting them!
The deal is that he gets to video tape her doing whatever he wants. This is to occur twice a month until she puts a stop to it. And during all of these encounters, Mr. Gordon is just sitting back, watching with his aloof detachment. So Gretchen gets all obseso-girl over him and takes matters into her own hands. You know... literally.
So, yeah. Mr. James Gordon was a weirdo. So was Gretchen. And not the mysterious kind of weirdos, either. The type that you just don't get, and you probably don't want to. She seemed pretty into making these vids, except she never really had to do anything except kick back and enjoy those O's.

This story was weird, and not as sexy as it could have been. BUT! I added a "f-f-f" shelf just for this little guy, so... mission accomplished?
Also, don't worry. I wasn't flushed and antsy once my towels were dry. All was well at the laundromat.
Meh... it was weird enough for three stars.

The tables are turned!
I'm a sucker for billionaire's romance (duh!), but I really loved that the woman took charge in this sexy tale of domination and submission! I love an alpha male as much as the next girl, but sometimes you just want to be in the driver's seat, with a man helpless to resist you, especially one as hot as Virginia Wade's sultry hero!
Give this one a read if you enjoyed 50 Shades, but want a different twist on the ol' standby ;).

Gretchen is on a hunt for a new funder to provide for her families non profit Free Clinics. With her last chance meeting with billionaire James Gordon he gives her a proposition, he'll give her the money in return of her becoming his sex plaything. At first she thinks he's insane and it's a no deal but of course something happens and she has no choice but to agree if she wants her families free clinics to survive.
I too thought he was insane, like who comes up with these things? And when Gretchen asked him why he choose her his answer was half ass if you ask me. But I guess that's another reason why his character is so mysterious and why Gretchen eventually becomes obsessed with him. I can see why she became obsessed, he gave her nothing so she had to find everything out on her own (it's like when teenage girls are crushing on teen heart throbs, we've all been there). However, I thought her obsession of hers was going to come sooner and maybe me reading this off my phone made me feel like it took forever.
Her obsession comes to light at the end of the book and from the summary I thought it was going to be the focal point of the story. However, it's all build up. It wasn't bad, not in the least! I was turning hot page after hot page, I just couldn't put it down cause I just had to know what the billionaire planned to do to her next. But again, from the summary I just thought it was going to be her finally taking control.
Overall, I enjoyed this! It's definitely kinky and from the very beginning! I was hooked, couldn't pull my eyes away! Though I enjoyed the steamy scenes I just couldn't connect to James and the relationship that apparently bloomed between Gretchen and him. I honestly don't see what they have is more than just lust. But other than that, it was interesting.

This is a short quickie that I picked up for free. At 50 pages, it flows about how you would expect-quick and right down to the down and dirty.
I really loved the beginning, but as it progressed I felt a little weirded out—is that a term? I don’t’ know, but whatever, they were both weird characters. A couple of times we get the quote:
”You crazy bitch.”
“You sadistic bastard.”
So yeah, that about sums it up. I’m happy the characters have found their happy for now ending, but I’m still a little baffled at how that could happen after their situation. Hey its worth a read so you can make the conclusion for yourself whether you are weirded out or not!

This was short and needed a whole lot more though. I think if there would have been more to the story lines such as having more of the plot be about the clinics or some more character development I would have liked the book more. What I did like was the strange proposal James gave to fund Gretchen's clinic. It was pretty nice if you ask me except for I found that I wanted to know both of them a little more and was sad that this book was so well written but entirely too short. It was also a free Amazon read. I liked it a lot and would recommend it if you want something quick and kinky to read.

Pretty much sums up the characters …. The rating is based on the sex scenes, for whatever reason(???) I was able to separate the sex from the story line. Maybe because the story line I was told and not really use any imagination unlike the sex scenes where it was detailed enough that I could kinda feel in the moment. Why did I finish it??? Well for one it’s quick read, and as crazy as it all was, I had to know how it could possibly end.

This is my first Virginia Wade and even though I gave this book only 2 stars I would still love to read more from this author.
This book was not bad, but it was not great either. It was just not very believable. Are we supposed to believe that after one night when Gretchen turns the table on him and ties him up and has her way him (he is not too happy about this because before he just liked to watch) that James overnight changes his ways is emotionally ready for a real relationship and is no longer angry at Gretchen for turning the tables on him?

This book was too short. Gretchen Fox is in desperate need of money for her funding of her Family Free clinics and it looks like her future is bleak until James Gordon requests a meeting with her. James is just the man that can help all her problems. He offers a proposition to record her during sex in exchange for funding of her company. Gretchen starts out shy, but then obsession with James takes over. The sex scenes were good it was just too short.

If you like 50 Shades you'll like this, quick read. A little more.......interesting that 50! But very much along the same vein, contract, kink the difference is the "other people".
