Leroy Scott (1875-1929) was an American author. His works The Walking Delegate (1905), To Him That Hath (1907), Counsel for the Defense (1912), No. 13 Washington Square (1912) and Children of the Whirlwind (1921). “It was an uninspiring bit of narrow, paved with cobble; hot and noisy in summer, reeking with unwholesome mud during the drizzling and snow-slimed months of winter. It looked anything this May after noon except a starting-place for drama.
