Great book, such well written and detailed memories. Chapters about Only Fools and Horses are fabulous and so funny!

I love this man. Grown up watching 'Only Fools and Horses'. You don't realise how actors struggle and make sacrifices to get to where they want to be. I feel a personal connection to him after reading this book as it mirrors the struggles my Dad had growing up as a cockney.
My dad is of the same generation and some of the antics that Jason got up to are similar stories I have heard from my dad. It brought me comfort yet it was funny and inspiring. What a resourceful man David Jason is and no airs and graces. He worked hard and has stayed true to his roots and is so grateful for his amazing life.
