Rate this book
A real life teenager, 15 year old jellyellie, dishes the dirt on what she and the many fellow teenagers she interviews really think. Essential reading for all parents, she explains what teenagers think about everything from school to designer labels, sex to money. She also discusses what encourages teenagers to co-operate with their parents and what pushes all their rebellious buttons. "How Teenagers Think" is the book for parents whose relationships with their teenage kids is fraught, and who find their children hard to fathom. It will help them get inside the teenage mindset and encourage them to understand their kids better.

Whilst a bit outdated, I did find some of the sections to be useful! I liked the homework section too. I don't feel as daunted about the next few years of my daughters life!

Got this out of the library today. Not that my girls are a 'problem' but thought it may be useful.... one of my girls saw it and has kindly offered to read it and tell me if it's true- oh great!

have now read it and we didn't think much of this. It made me a bit sad that some parents would need to read it to be honest. It was very basic stuff that parents hopefully learnt how to do with toddlers. Some bits were ok but not the great read I was hoping for. My daughter didn't think much of it but at least it gave us a good opportunity to discuss why.

Great book about teenagers, written from the point of view of a 15-year-old herself. A brilliant achievement in itself, this is an inspiring read and great discussion point for parents & teens.
