A solid collection of ideas for the classroom. Ready to use or adapt to most levels. Particularly helpful are his ideas on 'Thought Shots', 'Zooming in / Twisting the binoculars' and 'Digging up the Potato.'

This is a great resource for teachers who lead writer's workshops. The book gives great ideas on how to guide students through the process of writing a creative story. Great writing prompts and mini lessons for enhancing creative writing skills.

I got this book for a literacy graduate class. It has many tools to use in the classroom for all levels and ages. This book is wonderful and defiantly handy for teaching writing.
