When Liam pays a madam for a specific fantasy to be made real, he assumes he’ll go home after three days with no harm done. His new captors have different plans, and with only a week left to live, escape seems impossible. Until Prince Briar walks in. Rumors say the pretty white hair and black wings hide a cruel streak. Despite his Prince of Pain nickname, he’ll surely let Liam go, right? Maybe, but only if Liam agrees to a deal that might have him jumping from the frypan and into the fire.
OMFG 🙀I was so not prepared for this book and I can’t read another second of it. Also, Amazon why are you recommending this to me? I know I read dark shit but this is like truly, truly fucked up and not for me one bit. NO NO NO NO NO!
So this is a 5 part “fairy tale” about a fairy who pays a shitload of money to be kidnapped and treated like a slave for 3 days. So, he gets kidnapped and then all hell breaks loose. I get this is supposed to be a dark kink fest but even if I could get past the actual non-con, not the kind this guy thought he was getting, the people doing it are absolutely disgusting. The kinky pain prince hasn’t even shown up yet but I want off this ride!
Yes I read the warnings but after reading Little Bird Lost earlier in the year and going in blind without reading the triggers, and being able to get through it relatively unscathed, I figured anything was fair game. I WAS WRONG!!
And while I’d normally not rate this because “I’m the problem, it’s me”, this is so YUCK 🤢 that I’m giving it the ONE STAR I feel it deserves. This goes hand in hand with Naked Ambition by Lisa Henry as books I wish Amazon hadn’t recommended to me and I’m never taking their advice ever again!! But it also goes into the WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK shelf because seriously, I just cannot! This was only 43 pages and that was 43 too many for me. 😂
Saying that I know I have some friends who are into dark pitch black books and here’s a series for you!!! No shade. 💗
This was well and truly dark but very intriguing and short enough to finish in under an hour. Definitely take a close look at the CWs before diving in.
Ohhh, this went dark fast. Like, I got scared for Liam but this was so good. Prince Briar got there just in time, but I don't see him as Liam's savior. I can't wait to see how sadistic he is😊
This is a super short story which introduces the prince of pain and his new pleasure/pain slave. The fantasy setting with fairys and magic adds a new layer, which I found quite intriguing, but still felt this is a little too dark for me.
Please be aware that S.nU.ff is threatened and planned for Liam by a non main character, but it doesn't actually happen. This story starts out with full c0nsent but goes dark fast.
Fairy bodies are also a bit more durable than human ones.

I read the first five of these little novellas on a dare and... I cannot recommend them for too many reasons. See my highlights for details.
In a nutshell, the content warnings don't cover half of the content in the series... and the series doesn't have an arch or a story or a cohesive world - it's just a series of rape/slave fantasy smut vignettes featuring mPreg, non-con, and very little magic.
This is someone's kink headcannon at best, and a cash-grab at worst. Keep your distance.
Super dark. There is mention of snuff and that’s something i absolutely hate and i got a bit sick, but thankfully a Prince (of pain) has whisked him away out of there 😬
julie's writing is very bland by default, but here it becomes rushed. hard to care about any sex or pain happening when you're not given enough time nor narration depth to feel it.
Oh wow. Though I knew what I was in for! It got dark and hefty super fast! (It’s only 43 pages long) Makes Prince Briar look like the knight in shiny armor - well see
"Breaking the rules could get me banned.” He smirked. “I see why, but I always do what I want, so lucky you. Stay there.”
While different then my normal reads, I really enjoyed this short first-installment! Poor Liam; waiting for him to realize what we the reader could figure out from the start was like holding your breath for too long! The Prince of Pain is super intriguing; I'm eager to see what direction this series goes!
This installment will go down as 'the one where Liam is .'
