This is by far the best candy making book on the planet-and I have gone through many. Each recipe is tried and true, plus there are several helpful hints to save the candy batch if you make any mistakes.
Of the several candy cookbooks I've played with, this one is the best for the beginning to intermediate candymaker. I've had consistently great luck with the recipes.
Time to start thinking about Christmas. This book has lots of great recipes and fascinating processes. Unfortunately, many things require special equipment that I don't have and don't have a place to store. I did, however, find some recipes that I am looking forward to experimenting with in December.
I use this every year. It is actually my mothers. VEry h elpfull in ALL candy making situations. I destroyed carmel one year and it turned into a brick. This book tells how to save it.
I absolutely adore this book. My copy is stained and well loved. The recipes I have made have been awesome. I recently found copies on sale and bought multiple extra copies to have on hand.
