Rainbow Magic features differing groups of fairies as main characters, including the Jewel fairies, Weather fairies, Pet fairies, Petal fairies, and Sporty fairies.
Narinder Dhami was born in Wolverhampton, England on November 15, 1958. She received a degree in English from Birmingham University in 1980. After having taught in primary and secondary schools for several years she began to write full-time. Dhami has published many retellings of popular Disney stories and wrote the Animal Stars and Babes series, the latter about young British girls of Asian origin. She lives in Cambridge, England with her husband and cats.
Sue Bentley was born in Northampton, England. She worked in a library after completing her education and began writing for children once her own began school. Bentley is the author of the Magic Kitten, Magic Puppy, and S Club series and lives in Northamptonshire.
Linda Chapman has written over 50 children's fiction books, including the following series: My Secret Unicorn, Stardust, Not Quite a Mermaid, and Unicorn School. She lives in Leicestershire with her husband and daughters.
Sue Mongredien was born in 1970 and grew up in Nottingham, England. She has published over 100 children's books, including the following series: The Adventures of Captain Pugwash, The Magic Key, Frightful Families, and Oliver Moon. She has also contributed many titles to the Sleepover Club series and written picture books. Mongredien created the Royal Ballet School Diaries under the pen name Alexandra Moss. She lives with her family in Bath, England.

Wow, it was so stupid. Jenne describes this book perfectly: "It was such boring prose that I kept trying to read it but my brain would slide off the words." And ADELE THE VOICE FAIRY? That is shameless.

The angels are pop singers. they prepare a picnic with their biggest hits, but the voices are all croaky. The girls know exactly what's going on.

Rainbow Magic book series, appeals to my senses, and has continued to fascinate me since years, I picked the One Hundred And Fourteenth Edition, titled 'Adele the singing Coach Fairy', to refresh my memories, and add another book to my 'Read List'.
The illustrations and the 'Jokerman' font used in the series is fabulous, along with the 'Jack Frost's Spell', poetically written. The book's full of surprises, music bands, pop stars, and Adele's Magic. This one is sure to take you on a magical and adveturous journey to a mystical land, with the main characters, Rachel Walker and Kirtsy Tate.
Kirtsy is cleaver enough to trick the villian into her plan, achieving the motive of the Pop Star Fairy.
Overall the story is beautifully presented, weaving mystery and fantasy together to develop the masterpiece.
The book brings forth the universal message of victory of the good over the evil. Those who believe in the magic and presence of the never seen fairies, should definitely look forward to read this soon.

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Maybe this book would have been better for us if it was not #114 and the first one we read. I would recommend reading these in there mini series for sure. Also as a parent this book was really blah. However I would think as a new reader to chapter books the plot is fairly easy and so is the vocabulary. There are plenty of photos along the way too.

Oh my God, Rachel and Kirsty must have lost 30 IQ points each in this one. A very short mysterious singer...named Gobby...who can sing well when no one else can. GEE, DO WE THINK HE'S A GOBLIN, WITH THE MAGIC CLEF?!?! Come on, you two. This is like the two hundredth disguised goblin you've seen. Ugh.

Jack Frost has taken Adele the singing coach Fairy's magical clef, and one of his goblins is using it to become the best rapper at the Rainspell Island Music Festival. Kirsty and Rachel must get the clef back, or nobody will ever sing in tune again!

My daughter loves this book but the impact this book had was so bad. She is scared of learning new things. Please don't let your kids read this book.

(Z six years old) I love this book so much because I love to sing and dance also why do I like thees books well they have pictures and when they have pictures it is easier for me to understand the story.

Rachel and Kristy are helping Adel. They are trying to get her magic things back from the nasty goblins. If they don't find them all the singers voices will sound bad.

This time they have to find Adele's magical clef. Will they find it before Jack frost takes over?
It will be very difficult because people who are very good at singing can't sing good, so they have to get the note back before the concert starts, and if they don't the concert will be ruined!

Read this one to my four year old (her request for her first chapter book). She would rate this five stars. She loved it! As a parent reading it out loud, all the way through in one sitting, multiple times...it's a three for me. We're looking forward to reading more of this series together.

My favourite part was when the clef was found. The worst part was when the goblin got mad at the girls. My favourite characters were Rachel and Kirsty because they helped Adele get the clef back. The worst character was Gobby the goblin because he had the magic clef and also helped steal it.

Lily brought this horrible drivel home from her school library. Unbelievably stupid and full of stereotypes. I threw up a little in my mouth reading it aloud to Lily. Please oh please what I wouldn't give for some Junie B Jones...
