Tocsinagon #1

Tocsinagon: Follow The Footsteps

Rate this book
Titus is eight years old and dreams of becoming the greatest tocsinagon player in history, just like his father. King Nor’i and the squires created tocsinagon (pronounced tock-SIN-a-gon) to unite the Norian people and commemorate their recapture of the land from the hands of the Romilians. A modern observer would note that the game reminds them of a cross between basketball, rugby and soccer - it’s a rough sport but the nation loves it. Each year the Summer Solstice Festival draws teams from every province to compete in a national tournament.

Tocsinagon: Follow The Footsteps captures Titus’s quest to break free from the shadow of his father and forge his own legacy by leading the Camplay Stallions to the Game of Fire. But with the nation on high alert for another Romilian invasion, will Titus’s drive for tocsinagon immortality cost him more than he can afford?

I was born and raised just west of Indianapolis. I grew up playing sports and creating make-believe worlds in my backyard.

At age 11, I played my first round of golf and I dreamed of becoming a professional golfer, and that sort of came true.

I went to college in Ohio and then studied graduate level theology for a year in Texas. In Texas I fell in love with writing and storytelling.

I hope all of my stories challenge and excite my readers, but most of all I hope they give them a glimpse of hope.
