Volume 7 of Haunted Bookstore is a goodbye to the series through several short stories mostly set after the events of the main story. They give a bit of an insight into Kaori's life and that of some of those around them. The characters in the stories were great, and I especially liked the story about Kaori's kids getting into (and out) of trouble because they wanted to help their mother (without asking of course). One of the side stories about the protector spirit of a house was also fun. I really enjoy folklore and what a good author can do with it. It is a collection of short stories though, and it has nothing to do with the main plot of course.
All in all, a great (and at times emotional) goodbye to the series which I feel any fan of the books would love to read.
i completely adore this series and this was an beautiful ending volume to an beautiful story that gave me all the feels. If there was more I would continue to devour it and I hope that more of the authors work gets translated as its just so heartfelt and wonderful
