always question who is defining what behavior is unlawful or deviant. power and norms are rooted in a history that subordinated others to benefit some.

I specifically enjoyed the readings at the end of each chapter. For other students, I highly recommend the kindle version of the book. After a while, I found the "search" bar VERY useful in quickly finding specific terms and passages.
