Autobiography of a One Year Old

Rate this book
An adorable paperback edition of a popular hardback by bestselling humorist Rohan Candappa.

It's an extraordinary world out there and The One Year Old is here to share his revelatory journey through babyhood. From full and frank explanations as to why he sometime blows snot bubbles through his nose (because he can) to the mystery of the stalker (if someone had just explained to him about mirrors). From the frustrating stupidity of his parents (Hairy and Smooth) to delights of running around naked on the kitchen table, it's a truly enlightening and delightfully funny read. To every parent who's ever wearily wiped food from the floor and said 'Is this your idea of a game?' - beware. The One Year Old is about to reveal just how much he's been playing with you.

This is a great short book that will make any parent laugh! Rohan Candappa knows how to write from the perspective of a baby. Some of it gets a little repetitive but I loved it anyways. I can read this over and over!

A very interesting and brilliant read from the view point of a child. A lot of things adults take for granted are viewed from a child's perspective and it does make a lot of sense. A must read for every parent and to be parent

An interesting read. Funny and very straightforward. A perspective that every new parent and a to be parent should read. It will make the pareny more empathetic to a child's struggles in the initial years...

Good humour, particularly for young parents. Some chapters read like our own life with our toddler. Got a bit repetitive by the end but still a good read.

Loved this book, it made me laugh out loud so many times and could relate so many sections to my 14 month year old son. Highly recommended and thoroughly enjoyed it.
