I can recommend this book same as I do with the Ted talk.
The book goes even further by describing where the POWER of possibilities comes from, or should I say the power of abilities?
We can have role models or even we can get inspired by others. However, at the end of the day, it is our choice, our call if we want to make things happen or accept the status quo.
We have this freedom, and if this is consistent with our beliefs and our current mindset then that's fine.
We have the power to say: "I want to climb that mountain" even if others say it's silly, and we have the power to say we want to stay at home when others say climb that mountain. It is me who has the force to say that.
On the other hand, courage is what we need to work on (if we have trouble with that). Life is not full of mistakes. It is full of lessons and consequences of the choices we make. Sometimes consequences come fast and sometimes materialise years later. Sometimes they impact us, and sometimes they impact others. We grow if we want to, not when we have to or need to. We do not have to know how to do it. The will to do so, courage and commitment are what we need at first. Courage means that we trust ourselves. We accept the consequences and the risks.
At the end of the journey, there may be a reward (depending on how effective we are). For sure there will be a lesson. This is where we experience our lives.
You will find all of that and more in that book. I did not give 5 stars just because it seemed to me that some of the ideas were repeated. This made me feel a bit lost. However, it might be only me, as recently I was reading the other book for kids by the same author. I believe this book is a must for everyone to read.
Life is unpredictable, but it is all we have. Life does not have a sense life is the sense. Go through it mindfully, feel all of its flavours, and achieve what your heart desires!
It is your life. There might not be a sequel.
