Every major aspect (conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition, inconjunct) is covered, 314 aspects in all, 300 words per aspect, thumb indexed for easy reference. Planets in Aspect, the first volume published in Para Research's Planets series, is undoubtedly the most thorough in-depth study of planetary aspects (including the inconjuncts) ever written. It's intelligent, yet easy to read. It's personal, yet objective. It's astrology that really works... and keeps on working for you.
I like this book but always wish he had taken a more psychological approach to the aspects. If you get the underlying psychology you can extrapolate the consequences.
To be fair, I didn’t read this WHOLE entire book yet but it’s a beautiful referencing book for understanding the aspects in a person’s natal chart for astrology.
I read the main parts at the beginning & the descriptions at the beginning of each chapter for each of the aspect types. I wish they had aspects for Chiron & Lilith as well as the lunar nodes but this was still a highly informative book for anyone getting into astrology & chart readings.
Really great description of how aspects influence one's astrological chart. However, given the age it does leave out some information that might be important to the Modern Astrologer. The base information however is sound.
This is a classic Astrology book which still makes a good reference manual, after more then 40 years since print. I was lucky to find a used copy for $8.
