I don't usually read political thrillers but this one is excellent...thanks to the wonderfully developed characters--each with their own clearly delineated traits clearly defined from the beginning of their introductions.
The best Manchette I’ve read so far. Really pulls off the political thriller/black comedy combination. Half way through I thought “this would make a good film”. And lo and behold on LetterBoxed there it is. With a screenplay by Manchette.
Enjoyed this political French filler the more In depth the book got it made me think of La haine. However I would of enjoyed it more if it was further in detail with certain chapters which would of allowed a more sentimental connection with the characters
