A great resource for any needleworker, stitches in every type of embroidery explained and illustrated in detail, hints, instructions and lots of colour photos.. Lots of inspiration here.

I have several hand embroidery books, and this is my favorite in terms of clear instructions and pictures. Tons of stitches, too - just flipping through this book makes me want to pick up a needle and some embroidery floss...

Great reference book. I prefer this edition to the newer one released in two parts as this has everything needed in the single book. Worth seeking out for a reference copy if you want to take up hand embroidery.
