Somali Americans provides a quick overview of the life and culture of Somali Americans, and it also presents information on the history of Somalia. Honestly I had little if no knowledge about Somali and I really enjoyed how the author was able to summarize important facts in a reader friendly fashion. Additionally great pictures and charts to aid the text. I would recommend this book for second grade and up.
