I’ve been diving into magic-related books recently, and this rune for beginners read is an absolutely terrific start. I love the inclusions of lore/gods like Odin, as well as the non-overwhelming way the information is presented to make the read digestible. I’m absolutely LOVING these kids of books, which make a sometimes intimidating topic fun and insightful!! While I’d recommend coming into this book with an open-mind (and setting aside any previous notions you may have about this topic), it overall isn’t *too* far-fetched to seem plausible…which I really like, since I’m expanding my horizons lately.

an ancient oracle
Fantastic book if you are into this type of thing. I got into room magic when I was in high school and even started tattooing them all over my body. There’s tremendous power they hold. It’s pretty impressive.
To the point where they can be used as a full-blown Oracle that you could ask questions to, and they will provide impressive feedback as long as you get into it with them. Just like tarot cards but better.

The book looks at the origin of runes, their relation to other symbolic alphabets, and most importantly, the practical use of runes to carry their magic and intention into our daily lives. It's a well-cited and great resource for anyone wanting to learn about and work with runes. It's perfect as a rune for beginners.
