Did not finish. Stopped at p. 109 with the quote: "Many people like 'rescuing' or 'helping' other people in order to boost their own self-regard- this applies to social workers to an alarming degree."

What?? In general, the author's attempt at what I guess is supposed to be humor is some of the most grating I have ever read. The whole tone of the book is snarky, condescending, and generally full of snide remarks that have absolutely nothing to do with tarot whatsoever.

In short: it seems a grouch wrote a book about something they don't actually like or take seriously. They also wanted to barf out general grievances (because they are a grouch) and thought they could just sprinkle them around unprovoked while talking about a card layout.

*fart*
