A story of an Ant that starts an Easter bonnet parade.
With an Australian hook it showcase our flora and fauna in the creative hat designs.
The story has a great rhythm and is a quick read and the illustrations are so bright and full character and energy. I can imagine my school friends joining in with the reading: Hey Ho! What a Show! Look at what we made!
Some images also allow for children to predict the next animals that might join the parade.
This would be a great story for all my teacher friends to use to have Easter hats that look like the ones in the story as a literacy link to an Easter hat parade
Colin Buchanan play school presenter and Christian multi album recording artist writes a little book here about the great Australian primary school tradition the Easter hat parade. Nice little book, I did not hear the CD, but have heard lots of Colin in the past. Ans you can still read Easter books in August - no rules apply!!
