I've never been big on horses, but this was an exciting mystery that kept me guessing until the end.

(Yes, I know; I'm not the target audience for this series, but, I like morally decent entertainment in pretty much any form, regardless of the intended demographic.)

The Creative Women go to a dude ranch that's been having a series of weird accidents. Is someone trying to put the owner out of business? The leader of the group meets the dashing neighbor. How does this affect her relationship with her supercop boyfriend?

Pretty quiet for a mystery like this.

Shannon and a couple of the Purls are at a friend's dude ranch and helping look into whoever is behind the incidents occurring at the ranch. This is an enjoyable read with some knitting, a mystery, and family dynamics between Shannon's friend Molly and Molly's teen half-sister.
