Interesting little tale. And there is a series of Hobo Dog stories... its style of art reminds me of the classics like The Little Engine That Could" and "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel". However, the idea of a hobo dog gets stuck in my craw as everyone knows that life of a stray dog is anything but charming. It's that incredibly "romantic" AND stupid notion of the homeless/hobo as adventurous and fancy free.
