Even when I'm halfway around the world, my mother won't leave me be.
I'm never going to become the mafia princess she hoped for. I'm going to show the whole world who I really am--on the ice, with the grace and beauty I've always dreamed of.
But the competition is tougher than ever, both in the figure-skating community and in the criminal underworld I left behind. If Mom forces my hand, can I find a final move that'll free me from her control forever... or will I be the one who'll lose everything?

Luciana (Lou) only wants to skate and enjoy her men but her mother is determined not to let her be. Worse than that, the Deadly Rose doesn't care who gets caught in the crossfire. Niko is only just recovering from being shot when Lou's mother launches more attacks that are causing them to be noticed by more than just the paparazzi. Now, other members of the Devil's Dozen are also on the alert. Though Beckett and the Blood Hunter are solidly on her side, March Wind and Bright Dragon representatives are dogging her. For some reason, some don't believe she has renounced her mother and only wants to be left alone. Then, a new pseudo ally turns on them and brings even more attention to the group. Even her and Jasper's chance to compete in the World Championships is in jeopardy. A final showdown is inevitable and Lou has to figure out how to come out of it alive.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Loved every bit of the whole series Having to face their greatest threat head on is the only way to gain freedom. I loved all of the characters, they all had a special bond with each other that was felt throughout the book. They each had their own baggage issues to deal with, but they always worked together to make it work. Trying to avoid the violence but discovering that was impossible, and they were not willing to give up on their dreams. A well done story that had a good flow, the writing was very well done with plenty of fun and witty banter to go along with the tense action packed plot. This has been an ongoing series that was very enjoyable with some twists as well. Highly recommend to read this series. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.
What a satisfying ending to a great series! I have loved the combination of Mafia and ice skating from book 1 and it certainly never got boring. Between the new awesome moves Lou and Jasper added to the nerve wracking attacks this book kept me on the edge if my seat from start to finish. I read it in 1 day because it felt impossible to put it down. But the ending was great and I loved how all of their relationships grew and they became a family. Definitely pock this up to read - it'll be worth it!
What an amazing story. Its been a wild ride and this one is in the same. Just drew me in and kept me glued to the end to see ho wit would all end up. How would the World Championships end and would there be surprises kept me there too. So hard to put down as I love Lou and her boys. A great ending and a well written story with amazing characters to enjoy. Action, skating, possible danger could pop up any time and a championship to win made it a blast to read. And of course there was Lou and her boys to keep an eye on. Loved it.
I cannot believe we are at the end of Lou’s journey but man what a journey it has been. Despite her mum constantly on at her to be the little mafia princess she wants her to be, Lou with the help of her loyal and sexy guys just want to be rid of the criminal underworld and show the world what an awesome skater Lou is. It’s been a fascinating and entertaining series full of action, drama, danger, betrayal and plenty of heat and I have loved every minute of it. The authors have done a fantastic job of bringing it all together and giving us a great and satisfying ending.
Lou and her men have been through hell and managed to stay in one piece. The last time they escaped her mom was from Austin. Now they’re in Japan and just as they are getting settled into a good routine Lou’s mom strikes again.
This time with some serious bloodshed. One of Lou’ s men is shot in the chest. Two are still recovering from previous encounters. Now her mom doesn’t care who is around or what havoc she causes. It’s enough to make everyone want to scream.
What’s next and how do they find the answers to all the issues they have to face??
Have enjoyed this series immensely, so different, contains some of my favourite tropes Mafia, RH and enemies to lovers. Lou out FMC is a tough no nonsense kind of girl who lives for her sport of ice skating. The way her and her guys have worked together to overcome all the obstacles thrown at them by her vindictive mother has been a joy to read
A winning finish for a champion series! 😍 Plenty of ups and downs between victories and defeats, a couple of shocking twists, lots of heartfilled moments, and of course it's not shy of the steamy scenes. Everything wrapped up nicely but naturally too. Another great series done and dusted by this magnificent duo, can't wait to see what they offer us next. 😍
This is the final book in the series, not a cliffy in sight. It picked up pretty close to the end of the last book but I felt by doing this it removed some of the emotional impact of the situation.
This one wrapped up Lous story and her journey to Worlds. Some of the fall out I was expecting and other parts came as a shock. There were a few action scenes but I did enjoy the skating too, as I'm a big Cutting Edge fan from the early 90's.
I would have liked a bit more crossover with the Bloodhunter and Beckett but I can understand the authors choice as it was clear Lou was never going to take over the criminal empire. I reckon she could have done both because she is a badass 😂
I wasn't quite sure how I felt about the ending as we had one harem member living separately part time. Obviously living a very different life to the skaters, I could see it coming but I've never had an RH book end with a character seeming more on the periphery than in the main group.
