Although it’s a dream he’s had for years, Bryson Anderson may have picked the wrong weekend to finally tell Riley Rivers he loves her. Bryson, Riley and four of their closest friends have returned to a convention on the edge of space that they’ve attended together for years, only to find the con’s new investors, a shadowy faction called the Dealers, are guarding a secret beyond imagining. Between canceled panels, costume malfunctions, long autograph lines, alien artifacts and a cult that reveres a mysterious clock, Bryson and the gang have more to handle than a confession nearly three decades overdue. Nevertheless, by the time it’s all over, love and a dream may be the only things keeping this year’s Ouroboros Expo from ending in a calamity of galactic proportions.
Clay Gilbert says he’s always liked stories, and that from the time he knew there were people who told them for a living, that’s what he wanted to do.
