This was a helpful library book for my daughter and I to educate ourselves about a pet we are considering acquiring. It was uneven though. At times the information was ultra basic and then the chapter on color variations got too far into genetics for the general pet owner who just wants to understand the different color terms. Probably not the book we will purchase to continue caring for a pet.
