Feels like a Scooby gang solving a mystery, but much hotter!
I am really enjoying these books, there is a great plot including a good mystery, murders, kidnappings, beatings, Russian gangsters, ships full of cocaine, and wealthy families with generations long grudges. Then there is bunch of college kids trying to get to the bottom of it all by following people, breaking into ship yards, using hackers and gadgets kind of similar to a modern day Scooby gang like Buffy and her pals.
The characters are fun to read about. The Four are Caiden (King Cade), his brother Weston (West) who is a tech genius, Cassius (Cass) fun loving life of the party and Zayde (Z), tall, muscular with serial killer eyes who is broody and doesn’t talk a lot. Winter Huntington started at their college last year after her Dad died in a house explosion and the Four didn’t like or trust her at first because they hate her mother who is married to Cade and West’s father.
In The Lies We Tell, since the four found out that Winter suspects her mother of having something to do with her father’s death and that she came to prove it, they have started to trust her more. Cade though has had the most trouble since he is attracted to Winter and can’t seem to stay away from her. He has issues with the fact that she looks like her mother and he blames her mother who flaunted her affair with his father in front of his mother while they were still married and drove his mother to suicide.
This is not a reverse harem romance. The romance is only between Caiden and Winter and it is a very steamy one at that. They have trust issues as I stated above and Cade is jealous and extremely possessive which makes for super steamy intimate scenes between the two of them. This book gets five out of five flames for how hot and steamy it is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
There will be a third book in this series with Caiden and Winter as the main couple. I hope there will be more after that for each of the rest of the four, I especially want to see Zayde as a leading man. He is so quiet and broody and big and strong. Yummy! Z is dangerous, he does some bad things, he has contacts that can clean up a dead body, get information on criminals and come help him at a moments notice. I definitely want to know more about him. I just love that type of guy!
This book ended in nearly as big of a cliffhanger as The Lies We Tell. But that one turned out so great I’m not mad at all. One thing I really hate is when you get this huge cliffhanger and then you get to the next book and it is like no big deal. For example if someone gets shot at the end of a book, and you think they are either going to be dead or fighting for their life at the start of the next book then you get to that book and it’s just a minor flesh wound and no biggie, it’s over in like two seconds and on to the next scene. It is such a letdown. You mean I waited and worried for months and that’s it? I hate that. It was great that Becca Steele followed through on her cliffhanger in this book.

I loved this book so much and wasn't able to put it down! Everything I said about the first book holds true, the author did not disappoint after the cliff-hanger in the first book. This book had so many twist and turns and had me on the edge of my seat.
Winter has now earned the trust of 'The Four'. They still aren't any closer to unveiling the mystery surrounding Winter's dad's death and are vary of the people around them, not knowing who to trust who to not.
This book had everything I wanted and the cliff-hanger!! The relationship between Caiden and Winter was so good! They made an amazing couple and I really liked that Winter understood Caiden, and how she gave him space when he needed it and was always there for him. The side characters were amazing too, and I loved how they was portrayed and always stood by each other.
Becca didn't disappoint and I cannot wait to see what happens next and where this book takes us, especially with the cliff-hanger!

Winter’s a girl with new friends now. Her life has changed, but there’s one fundamental thing that hasn’t. There are still secrets out there, coming to get her.
ENDS IN A CLIFFHANGER.
This is my second book by Becca Steele! The cover, the formatting and just the entire look of this series is incredible. What a thrilling ride this sequel was! Friendships were strengthened, twists lurked around every corner and secrets were accumulated (LOL word choice). Our favorite characters are in for a mystery. There’s a lot of figuring out of relationships and roles in this novel and I must say that it felt too good to be back in this universe!
Without wanting to spoil the content of the book, I must say that Winter stayed determined in book two. She was a lovely and strong lead girl. Her friendship with the boys and her bestie Kinslee were heart-warming and funny at the same time. I still ship Kinslee and Winter’s friendship so hard.
Caiden Cavendish was a snack in this novel. WAY more delicious than the snacks they serve at Cavendish in good ol’ Sheffield, that’s for sure. (apologies to the Cavendish pub). He evolved a lot and it’s visible in this novel. I loved his chemistry with Winter. Their steam was ever-present and uber hot.
Since this ends with another cliffhanger, I’m in dire need of book three news. I require answers ASAP. There are so many questions… Book three will end with a bang, I’m sure!
I recommend this story to lovers of strong heroines that handle their business, leading male snacks (Four of them actually) and a thrilling mystery.

God, this couple is sooo hot together... Steam was rising everytime that they were closer!!! Bahahaha... I really need them to be good and together!!!!

The storyline is suspense and I couldn't put the book down.

But she remains stubborn and takes risks only to discover the truth about her father’s death.
Caiden showed me a new (more vulnerable face) that made him grow in my heart.
His love for Winter knows no bounds and he has shown countless times that he is willing to do anything for her to protect her.
Winter and Caiden's relationship is still forbidden but their bond has become even stronger after countless obstacles they've passed.
This book also ended up with cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out what will happen next 😱😱😱!

I genuinely hate when authors only continue with the story on the first 5% and the last 10% of the book. The rest of it it’s just rambling about something pointless that doesn’t add anything.
They just want to elongate the story when they could just do it in 2 books or less.
Anyway, I will continue reading the next book because I’m nosy and I want to see how everything turns out.

I’ve got a secret you don’t know.
What an intriguing continuation to this series! The second books in series which have three books dedicated to a specific couple are always a bit slow, because the conflict can’t be resolved too early, but this was surprisingly exciting!
Winter and Caiden and his friends are now on good terms, and I loved reading about their interactions. However, I felt like their friendship felt a bit forced and…unnatural? Same thing with Winter and Caiden’s relationship, it felt a bit too under-developed.
Okay, apparently the books in this series all end with cliff-hangers because this book ended off with another one! That being said, I really want to start the next book so that’s it for this review :)

A Gripping Suspenseful Step-siblings Romance with Relief, Step-Backs, Friendships, Trust, Hurt & Swoons, Fun, Spying, New Info, Love & a "Wtf?!" Cliffhanger!
I Cherish Caiden & Winter, Their Relation took 2 steps back & then 4 steps forward here. I LOVE Cass & Wes so much, I even come to Love Zayde! Kinslee is such a great Friend to Winter❤. Adored seeing'em all grow closer.
With Twists & Turns, Trust on Line, Secrets to Find, Danger so real..I couldn't put this down & Completed it in one seating. DEVOURED in 4 & a half hour. I'd read it ASAP after writing the previous one's review & getting This one, but got sidetracked with life before writing this review...But here it is now!
This starts where the Previous one left off. Sadly, Our 4 don't get in time to the Docks, Winter's Kidnapped. She tries to run away but couldn't .
Caiden is still reeling from the (previous book's) Video, We know it's Fake...But he doesn't. He's angry at her, but right now, her safety matters most.
Weirdly, *Someone* (who?) Rescues Winter & Deposits her to the Hospital Where Gladly, Kinslee & The 4 finds her *Whew*.
~All Flocking over her, Taking Care, Home & Recounting The Fear, All Truths talk, we're together in this, Personal Talks..
Caiden & Winter finally Talk about that 'Fake' Video, He wants to trust her BUT Can't...It hurts her but she knows taking a step back from their Relationship is the best until he trusts her fully, so that's what they do. Their Sparks though don't ebb...& That makes it Fun to see them suffer 😂.
~Just Friends, Her Move in, Protective People, Spy Room Fun, New Info, Can't Stay away, Zayde Trusts her, Caid working through his Troubles, The Ball, Swoony Facts, Plan & James' reasons, Caid Trusts her *Yay!*, Back Together, Sexy times, Public Claim *Swoon*...!
It was lovely to see Caid opening all his heart to her Finally! It helped that his Bestie Zayde Trusts her & that Cass & Wes adore her. Though W+Caid's Relationship has no problem anymore & steadily Grows...The Main Mystery of what her mom is doing remains & we find some major Data here.
~Codes & Investigation, Family Rivals Past (& Present?), Fun Dinner at Home (His dad takes his Side *ooh!*), Low Key Christmas, New Year's Party, Joseph's Attack on Her *Oh no!*, Caid came in time (& Handled it!), Caring & Kisses, Home Wine Party, Sweet Do Overs, Winter's Informative Eavesdropping, Allan's Truth *Oh Shit*, Intense & Caiden+Winter's I love yous *Swoon*...
The Last few scenes were especially Heart-racing both in the Action & Lovely Kind. The Sexiness was over the roof but never strayed me away from the story, it enhanced it. And last scenes...Weston, our Tech genius & Caid's bro, just found some info & that we may find out Who W's Rescuer was...At the Docks they go...Who is it? Do they know Him/her already? Cue Cliffhanger! We're soon gonna get all puzzle pieces to Put together...& Get the Truth.
I'm so excited for the Final part in Caiden+Winter's Story! I wonder if Joseph & James are gonna have a bigger Villainous role or not? Joseph is especially bad, but James' an asshole though not THAT bad.

I’d take a fucking bullet for you, baby.
The Secrets We Hide is book 2 in the Four series, you must read The Lies We Tell to understand what is going on.
Becca Steele bought all of the angst, mystery and what the fuck moments with this book.
No one fucks with the four, or our girls.
If you love loyal guys then you need to meet the Four. These guys own my whole heart and I never want it back.
I see you.
You have Caiden, the leader. The broody alphhole with a soft heart. He loves Winter but his trust issues and past is fucking him up.
West, who is Caiden’s brother is the tech wiz and the mastermind behind a lot of the stuff that they do. Now West was my least favourite in TLWT but his alpha streak shocked the hell out of me in this book and I am here for it!
Then we have Cass. Oh Cass. This guy. He’s so messed up, I can feel it in my soul but he hides it with the best humour. He made this book for me with his shenanigans. He is the best.
And then we have my guy. My Z. The dark and mysterious one. The one you can’t figure out. You know he’s going to bring you a world of pain when you read his books but I want it all and I want it now. I will never get enough of him, or these guys.
Winter. Winter. Winter. This girl is fiercely loyal and so in love. Her relationships with the other members of the Four in this book just melted my heart. The character development was flawless and I don’t think that I can love them anymore. But with that being said there was also a couple of moments where I wanted to slap her upside the head!
This book was full of mystery and suspense and left me with more questions than answers and I love it. I’m dying to get my hands on book 3 especially after that epic cliffhanger.

You have Caiden, the leader. The broody alphhole with a soft heart. He loves Winter but his trust issues and past is fucking him up.
West, who is Caiden’s brother is the tech wiz and the mastermind behind a lot of the stuff that they do. Now West was my least favourite in TLWT but his alpha streak shocked the hell out of me in this book and I am here for it!
Then we have Cass. Oh Cass. This guy. He’s so messed up, I can feel it in my soul but he hides it with the best humour. He made this book for me with his shenanigans. He is the best.
And then we have my guy. My Z. The dark and mysterious one. The one you can’t figure out. You know he’s going to bring you a world of pain when you read his books but I want it all and I want it now. I will never get enough of him, or these guys.
Winter. Winter. Winter. This girl is fiercely loyal and so in love. Her relationships with the other members of the Four in this book just melted my heart. The character development was flawless and I don’t think that I can love them anymore. But with that being said there was also a couple of moments where I wanted to slap her upside the head!

This is the second book that I've read by this author and this is the second book in this series and Oh My, this book holds your attention and is just as captivating as the first book and this book deserves five gazillion more stars it was absolutely fantastic and you will not be disappointed, you will love it. I absolutely loved THE FOUR #2.

Caiden is the real sexy, hot alpha male that we love and he doesn't like to give any thing away, he likes to keep himself to himself, in this book though he lets us see a little more of himself but still leaves you wondering at the same time.
Winter is still the confident, beautiful and a strong person and she knows what she wants to do and does it and doesn't take anyone's crap, she never has though. I really like her and cant get enough of this character, she is very relatable too which I really like.
The Four are back and they are as strong as ever and the bond that they all have is beautiful to see. Cassius, Zayde, Weston and Caiden and the beautiful Winter they have all grown in more ways than one since the last book and you'll really love these guys and how they have blossomed, now more than before after everything that they have and are going through together.
You do get to know everyone more and you start to love them even more while the mystery is so strong that it makes you decide to become a detective your self only to discover- questions, questions, questions are in your mind totally.
There is still secrets, lies and suspense and there are twists all over the place and the mystery is awesome and take it from me you will be biting your nails off.
These four have become very different in the fact that they are not all enemies any more and they all have become something some much more different in a good way.

This author is a magician at writing her characters and this story line is so powerful, so strong and it totally hooks you in. This book, this story is written so great that you cant get enough.

I read, ‘The Lies We Tell’ and was INSTANTLY hooked. I could not WAIT to get The Secrets We Hide in my hot little hands. Needless to say, when I did, I was instantly sucked into my own little vortex where the real world no longer seemed to exist.
You may or may not remember at the end of TLWT, but Becca left us on a cliffy that had me steaming in frustration while desperately pushing for another page. Needless to say, there was no other page, but some serious questions as to what was going to happen next. No spoilers will be given, but I will say I was happy that the momentum from the end of TLWT was carried over to TSWH.
For me as a reader, Ms. Steele put her mark firmly in the author world with a unique storyline, perspective, character development, plot line and solid writing. Remember the vortex from earlier, this was due to her phenomenal writing and ability to create those visuals in your mind. I truly felt like I was the sixth IV (Winter is the fifth).
The boys are still as you may remember them but are ever evolving. Changing their personalities towards certain people/situations. Have no fear the boys you feel in love with, in book 1, are still very much present.
Caiden, the mysterious, broody, head alpha who is the bad boy with locked up emotions and more baggage than a 747. Let me just say that that baggage starts to lessen as the book goes on and it is heartwarming to see him morph from the 100% broody a-hole to this all-out broody a-hole with a softer side.
Cassius is the comedian of the group. He is the cocky, comedic, playboy that has all the women swooning. I love him for his personality, heart and humor.
Zayde (insert sigh). Zayde is the be all end all of scary AF characters, but there is something about him that makes him so enduring. He is bad-tempered, mean, dark and methodical. Yet, for some reason, I LOVE ZAYDE!
Weston, at least for me, I cannot seem to think his name without getting a little grin on my face. He is the techie of the group who I consider to be silent yet deadly type.
Besides being, the best of friends, what do these four all have in common? A woman named Winter. She has been through so much in her life making her appear broken, but she is strong and has a good heart. With the backing of the IV, Winter is able to figure out the mysteries that fly around them. Winter was able to bring them all together and to another level of friendship.
Now you are all wondering, what about Caiden and Winter? Let’s just say, that their relationship also continued to grow and change. How familiar are you with cross stitch? Caiden and Winter are the threads within the canvas. Keeping strong and fulfilling the picture as well as they could. The brilliant thing about this is that in order to complete your cross-stitch canvas you need more differing threads to fully comprehend the scene. This is what happens between the boys and Winter. They complete her, although her tie is stronger to Caiden, she still fills in with the other three for a solid cohesive unit.
Becca Steele is a master magician with taking all these different plot points and bring them together. You never see what is coming next or where she takes you. She is also a genius when it comes to cliffhangers.
TSWH is outstanding! Becca poured all of herself into this one! You will love to see what The Four are up to!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm not going to lie, this book left me in a permanent state of WTF just happened, FOR DAYS! DAYS PEOPLE!
ANSWERS, BECCA... WHERE ARE MY ANSWERS!!! You reeled me in, I was flipping those pages like a mother on pancake Tuesday. THEN BOOM! THE END! I'mma be stalking you, until you give me the next instalment. 😜
I loved the character development in this book, we watched all the boys as they each got there own personal traits. Especially Cassius, who I ADORE! We also seen Winter and Caiden become the EPIC couple that they are, which I loved ♥️🔥🔥

Ahhh! This book has so much suspense and mystery. I love it. You are constantly on the edge of your seat trying to piece all the pieces together! This is a series you don’t wanna miss. Start now with book one. The Secrets We Hide is epic. Winter and Caiden have my heart. Book 3 needs to come now!! The cliffy at the end of this one will have you wondering so many things!! 5 stars to this new adult, suspenseful, with plenty of heat must read book!

As book 2 we start to get some answers to what is going on and seeing Cade fall and fall hard for Winter and finally admitting his feelings was everything.

The Secrets We Hide by Becca Steele starts from the end of book one where we see Winter in danger and Caiden and his brothers trying to find out where she is whilst trying to figure out whether he trusts Winter 100%.
The Four (as we know them) are back and as strong as ever. Caiden (the leader), Weston (his brother and hacker), Cassius (the fun loving one) and Zayden (the dark, broody one). Each one seems to bring something to the story and also to Winter as she navigates not only her relationship with Cade which is rocky at the moment, but also with the others who she sees not only as friends but also family. Winter has also grown a little it seems from the last book in her search for the truth in regards to what happened to her family and what she is going to put up with in regards to Cade and his everlasting mood swings.
The story has a lot of suspense and questions going on as well delve more into the story as well as what role Winter’s mother plays in the whole thing. There is certainly a lot going on in this book and I would recommend that you read the first book: The Lies We Tell so that you understand what is going on. It will also help you to understand the characters more and see how they fit on the chess board!
As with the previous books, there are some steamy scenes between Cade and Winter, but there is also a development of other characters and it will be good to see if they have their own stories later on. As with book one, there is a huge cliff-hanger, but hopefully questions are going to be answered in the end.
If you like strong characters who are a bit mysterious, alphas and a heroine who knows her own mind, the this is the book for you!

This is the second book in The Four series and continues Caiden and Winter's story. Winter has now burrowed beneath Caiden's skin and gotten into his soul, as well as the rest of the gang. Caiden has a lot of trust issues so this installment focuses a lot on building their relationship. It also has a HUGE dose of ridiculous suspense but it works here!
Winter's mom is keeping something from her and the rest of the Four and they are sure it's malicious. There are so many enemies around them and it's hard to know who to trust. It's up to the five of them to get to the bottom of the secrets, grudges and revenge plots before it's too late.
There is so much going on in this story. It was fast-paced and steamy and I loved Caiden and Winter together. This one ends on a cliffhanger and I will definitely be diving into the last book in Caiden and Winter's story.

That is exactly what Becca did. From start to finish, I was hooked.
The powerful bond between The Four and Winter is magnetic, they all have so many different talents and attributes which make the group so strong and they all balance each other perfectly.
Cassius is the playboy best friend, and the comedian. He sheds light on all the dark moments and is very reassuring towards Winter. I'm hoping he settles down with Kinslee, they definitely secretly have the hots for each other.
Zayde is definitely the secret weapon, he is the mysterious dark horse. The icy glare that he has perfected is enough to terrify anyone. Even those closest to him. This guy has more secrets than anyone, and I feel he knows more than he lets on.
Weston remains the tech wizard, with a soft spot for a special someone who is quite a nice addition to this book. He is the most important part when it comes to getting the answers they need, discovering secrets is his forte.
Winter & Caiden remain the power couple of the year, and take their relationship to the next level. Their plan to tone things down ended up in some seriously steamy scenes. Their chemistry is undeniable. She is his light in the dark and he is her saving grace.
I genuinely really loved the relationship improvement with Arlo and the boys. I think they will need Arlo on their side when shit hits the fan. The entire storyline is captivating and addictive, there was no confusion, no plot holes and everything was on point. I have many questions but with a cliffhanger that maddening - who doesn't?

Seriously, I can’t get enough of these mysteries set in the UK lately. I am beyond ready for book three. Like yesterday.
Winter really shows a tougher side for me in the second installment despite constantly being in danger. Her dad has died, her mom is a monster, she’s been left for dead for digging too deep... or so we think.
The mystery prevails as Becca Steele takes us on an emotional ride! These characters have grown so much, finally admitted their feelings and all at the worst time. Tragedy brings us together, right?! 😂
Cade is the most surprising! He has relinquished control, admired his heart works fine and has so much anger left to deal with. I’m here for it. A broody bad boy with feelings he hasn’t felt before - sign me up.
Of course we get left on the edge of our seats! It’s my favorite part of series and slightly required for me, personally. I’m gonna be thinking of this one for awhile.

I need the next book, pronto! I swear Becca drags me down into the undertow with each of these books and I’m so invested that nothing else matters while I’m reading them. You’re killing me !! My love hate relationship with cliffys continues as Becca Steele just PUSHES me right off with that ending ! I knew it was going to happen but I still wasn’t ready!
Loving this series so much. So much happens, it’s plot is completely packed and so many questions about what the HELL is going on that you will be ADDICTED. You’ll constantly be finding yourself guessing at who’s involved and when you do find out bits and pieces, it’s not what you were expecting. I was definitely kept on my toes the whole time, and right on the edge of my seat, DYING to find out what they know. And excuse me, the sexy times 🔥 Jesus ..... I need a fan. I cannot wait for the next book!

A FABULOUS READ THAT LEFT ME WANTING MORE!!
"The Secrets We Hide" by Becca Steele is the second book in "The Four" series and it was a total fabulous read. Being one of my most anticipated reads, Becca surely didn't fail to deliver a solid plot filled with suspense, heat and love.
Book two picks up from where it left off previously and immediately, we are thrown into the web of suspense and thrill. What happened to Winter? What did she find out? What will happen to her? Burning curiosity kept me reading the book eagerly and hungrily.
Why did we always end up with more questions, and no answers?
The plot quickly thickens with suspense as their investigations continue and more mysteries are discovered. Is Winter's mother really guilty of what they have suspected her to be? What secrets is Alstone Holdings hiding?? So many questions and when will there be concrete answers to them? Maybe in the next book? Lol.
Not only that, the romance between Caiden and Winter also went through some ups and downs and progressed through this book. I just couldn't stop flipping the pages until I reached the end in no time!

Caiden is rising quickly on my book boyfriend rankings, especially after this bookl I see him maturing a great deal as a person and a boyfriend and I absolutely adore him for his newly found personality! Sure there are still times where he is a little arsehat early in the book, his personality definitely took a positive growth as the story goes on. The most obvious being his admission to his feelings (and blatant display of affections) for Winter and awwwww if that isn't one of the highlights of this book for me!

Winter is truly one of the book heroines I adore most. With a strength which holds her to seek out the truth and a gentleness that touches people's hearts, she is also smart, funny and brave. Despite her off-the-chart attraction and chemistry with Caiden, she is not afraid to lay out ground rules for their budding romance. Her blossoming friendships with West, Cassius, Zayde, Kinslee and Lena in this book is also heartwarming to read and a nice change of scenery among the fast-paced suspense and steamy plot.

I really like the way the author gradually builds up the romance between Caiden and Winter and she did a great job at that too. The way their feelings developed through the book is unbelievably realistic and is establishing a strong foundation of their relationship. I have no doubt they will stand strong against whatever is coming their way in the next book.
Becca's writing is impeccable and I love how she builds up suspense while injecting humour into the story. But her greatest talent must be how she wrote the cliffhanger of this book!! My jaw just dropped at the last page of the book and I'm left with awe, frustration, anticipation all rolled into one!
The story of Caiden and Winter will continue in book three and I am most definitely looking forward to it!

What a crazy roller coaster ride this book was. The constant action and need for answers had me reading late into the night and finishing in one sitting. Mystery surrounding the death of Winter's father cause questions to arise regarding her mother and what, if any, role she played in his death. With more clues dropped as the plot advances, we learn that not everyone is who they seem. Who can we trust and who is out for blood?
While very much a plot driven story, there was a great deal of character development that went on too. Cade, West, and even Winter have tried and succeeded in establishing more of a relationship with Arlo, Cade and West's father, and created a more familial bond. Winter's relationships with each of the boys has also developed into a familiar level of comfort and trust. It's her relationship with Cade that stole the show, though. Cade had some issues to work out and it was a struggle for both of them. Trust plays a huge role in their relationship and it was tested many times throughout the story. Despite that, their intense chemistry was always jumping off the pages and making you feel as if someone just turned up the heat. These two are the IT couple and everyone knows it.
I 100% loved this book. The mystery and suspense took center stage and held me captive from the first page to that damn cliffhanger on the last page. Captivating and spellbinding, this book is a must read for romance and suspense lovers alike.

Caiden just got more swoonier and more lovable and damn he out did himself from book 1.
The way his protectiviness shines through for Winter just has his alpha male hotness on a whole new level.
Winter she came through stronger in this second enstalment and I loved that she shined a little more. This tough ass chick showed these men how she works and I loved it.
These two boy could they get any more sexier? I mean the first book had me like wow but this one this story had more oomph to it, it had more gusto and had way more steminess that had me blushing at times.
The chemistry between Caiden and Winter was off the charts H.O.T.
The boys gah my boys they just made this story ten times funnier, ten times sexier and ten times more lovable.
Cass and Wes just have this charm about them that makes you fall hard and Z he has this darkness to him that captivates you and Caiden well he's just the King for a reason.
Each has their own personalitly that flirts with you through the pages and keeps you hot under the collar with the charms that spill from their very distracting mouths.
Caiden and Winter have something that captivates you, in a way that you can't help but love them they have this realness to them that makes you believe their love.

The Secrets We Hide is the second book in Becca Steeles
The Four
series. This is a continuation of Caiden and WInter's story so these MUST be read in order. WOW, I have no words. I LOVED this even more than the first book. Another suspenseful ride with so many twists and turns along the way. Caiden and Winter were HOTTER than ever. Of course i've already got the next book ready to go after ANOTHER cliffhanger.

Enjoyed this one more than the first book. Though I still find the sex scenes ridiculous and think this heroine should seek doctors advice, because of the amount of wetness she is dealing with.
That said, I liked the mystery and suspense and all the other characters. Read it in one go and jumped right into book 3.

Pass me the tequila Ms. Steele because after reading The Secrets We Hide I need it! I thought that when you left us hanging off the cliff with The Lies We Tell that I just wouldn’t be able to wait till book two of The Four series came out, but you have just proved me wrong. Because now I can NOT wait till book three is released. Once again Steele has written such a compelling story that has left me reeling that I am just amazed by the amount of talent and imagination that is poured onto the pages of these stories. Absolutely incredible book! Lots of drama, action, romance and little cat fighting thrown in and I just couldn’t put this book down. I literally read it in one day as I tore through the pages devouring every word. 5-stars for The Secrets We Hide by Becca Steele
