A novice writer, Ken Radon has potential. He just needs a good editor. His stories unfold well and are paced nicely but are chock full of extraneous side trips that are unrelated to the plot, or bloat the plot unnecessarily. If you live in or are familiar with Tucson you will enjoy the references and brief historical chit-chat. If you are not familiar with the Old Pueblo, then you may find these details a bit tedious, depending on where he chose to inject them.
Again, he's a novice and the book is written as such, however, if you're a Tucsonan you'll find it interesting anyway,if you're not, you'll probably bail after the third cliche. (I happen to be a Tucosnan so I stuck it out to the end)
