this book does not do what it says. it does not tell you how to stand up for yourself, or really, how to resolve any workplace stress/crisis etc.

it just lets you know that you can't sue, they can fire you, and don't quit unless your personal safety is at risk or you have another job lined up.

this makes me frustrated.

good about employment law, though, and a little enlightening in how very few rights you actually do have and how easily they can screw you over and what little recourse you have. makes me want to move to montana just for the "must have a reason to fire" clause.

actually, i lied. it's kind of depressing.

Good to know what is and isn't illegal in the work place, but not much more advice than "grin and bear it" aside from legal action.
