I really wanted to like this book but the poems were extremely simple, yes I understand what a haiku is. The other issue I had with the book was I guess with the formatting? After the 3 lines of the Haiku there would be 3 random letters (between the poem and the photo). These were also shoved up to the top of the page with a very small photo of the bird. It just seemed like someone's checklist project...like I need to write 10 books in a year so this would be an easy thing to create.
