My son is on the spectrum and very interested in specific elements of sound (like echos and vibration). I was so pleased to stumble across this book at the library for him. He absolutely loved it. I enjoyed reading it to him and it was neat to see him engaged and asking questions about aspects of sound outside of his typical special interest (like about how hearing works instead of just about echos). It was also neat it was in a graphic novel format with characters.

Water refracts sound. And sound waves travel 5 times faster underwater than on land.

I love the Max Axiom series, it has scientific information, but is told on a comic book format and following a narrative.
