The son of Chilean immigrants, Borzutzky's work often addresses immigration, worker exploitation, political corruption, and economic disparity. He teaches at Wright College.

Not really my cuppa. I get the purpose and intent here, and some poems do more for me than others, but at large I am certainly not the reader for this.

Borzutzky's antic energies and special feel for the demotic have made this a much funner summer.
