More sensitive audiences should know that this book does feature a pack of wolves eating something; although it is not a particularly gruesome photo, it could be upsetting to some. After providing some information about wolves, the book ends by saying that "People are wolves' greatest enemy. Farmers kill wolves that come near livestock. Other people build on land where wolves live. Laws protect wolves in some areas." I wish that the book had talked about human efforts to restore the wolf population and perhaps ways that readers could help wolves, too. Not my favorite book about wolves.
