You can write about the zombie in your dream. You can collect facts, maps, and ticket stubs. You can jot down thoughts that make you giggle or scream. You can write an amazing journal!
With a new baby in my family, I am very aware of the things I did not do with my children I wish I had done. One of these things is introduce journaling alone with techniques for them to actually journal (not just talk about it.)
Love the exercises in this book along with the freedom author Jennifer Fandel offers young journalers.
Her exercise "My pencil is magic" is one that may be used with ALL ages!
This is a cute and encouraging book for the emerging writer. My three year old enjoyed this even though she can't yet write. Now she wants to make a dream journal. Creativity inspiring.
