Again, I won’t go into too much information with this book. The Horses of Half Moon Ranch is a series of books set on a dude ranch in the Rocky Mountains. In Navaho Joe Kirsty sees a mysterious horse in the mountains and as the winter months sets in, fears that it will be unable to survive the snow. The whole series is a good read for young readers who like horses.
