Actually, this is not the book I read. I read The Bird Watcher by Jacquelyn Mitchard, but it didn't come up in the search. Too bad, because it was really pretty good.
Not really a book, like fiction or anything; but a book in the sense of useful structure for human activities etc.. My Mom first put this in to service, and really liked it. Then it came my way, when I was exploring bird-watching. Has a very enjoyable format and fun info bits.
