Funds received from her writing sales, over what she needs to supplement her pension, go to charities supporting homeless shelters, and ending child abuse, and the Humane Society.
Victoria M. Holob was born in Canada, and now lives in the Pacific Northwest of USA with her little dog, Brownie. The room where she writes is painted bright mango. Because her geographic location in the world is grayish 9 months out of the year, she likes working in a bright office. She has a B.A. in English, and is Certified in Hypnosis.
Although she has written for many years, Ms. Holob has only been an Indie ebook publisher since 2010. Many of her writings are translated, by way of SYSTRAN, into other languages. She writes, and sometimes illustrates, stories for children, love stories, and creates self-hypnosis projects for adults. Her recent launch of "UPGRADING HAPPINESS", marks her debut as a novelist, as well. The novel, Book One is a trilogy called, THE HAPPINESS TRILOGY. Coming in the Fall of 2012, Book Two, "DISTRUPTING HAPPINESS". Follow the further adventures of Joe, Marci, Mac, Malo, Gloria, Milo, and baby Michael---as well as some new and entertaining characters added into the mix. Book Three, RESTORING HAPPINESS, will be launched late in 2013. She has also recently launched a Kindle Blog called, THE HAPPY DAYDREAM, available for $.99 a month, publishing 2-5 times a week.
The over-all theme of her work, is to allow the reader to know that they can experience a life that contains personal discovery, community purpose, and a higher order, which is always guiding us all, along with the universe as a whole, to fulfillment.
