Phenomenal!!! To see the madness slowly rise is mind blowing! To have a place to find these people is something I could have never fathomed. A demented man trying to get the woman of his dreams, believing she is something she is not. So many moving part coming together and forming a remarkable take.
I docked 1 star, for personal preference (maybe a bit too seedy for me). However, I must confess that the pace was great; great characterization; and unlike in Book 1, there was a more apparent plot. As a matter of fact, I gave book 1 a kind of negative review if I recall. However, this book is 3 x as good as the first, LOTS of suspense, and a good amount of action. And the crime/ sexuality aspect of it did enhance it. There were a LOT of shocking moments. Starting at this point should be okay, but there is a cliffhanger.
