The book is not unpleasant to read, but it's not very useful. The book is not so much an exposé of the author's own thinking as it is of the thinking of others. In fact, he adopts a dissertative style, in which he constantly echoes other authors without ever really backing them up. So, the book reads by itself, easily, the text is fluid and I enjoy reading this opinion and all these literary and philosophical references, however, it's almost a purely stylistic exercise, but perhaps that's already indicated in the title of the book: it's an eulogy (as in praise) after all. So it's a book to be taken lightly, almost as entertainment, but by no means a source of new ideas.
