About the author

As a seventh generation West Tennessean, I've grown up with an extended family -- aunts, uncles, cousins (as distant as fourth and fifth!), grandparents and great aunts and great uncles. Growing up within that large network of family has given me a wonderful sense of who I am and where I came from...even if I don't always know where I'm going!
