This is a nice little book for teaching emotions to kids. The book starts with introducing the characters. As a sample, it focus on one emotion of being happy and took examples of different social situations. It also has instructions on how to use the book for teaching. Nice work.

Feelings workbook

A great looking workbook for appropriate reactions/feelings for different situations. Great character setup, too! Being a sample version on Kindle, I couldn't get into the meat of it, but it definitely looks promising.

The ebook is a sample!

To start, anyone who gets this ebook should understand that this is a sample - I believe at least more than the first quarter of the paperback version. I think it has potential and seems to be a resource for teachers (and parents) to understand children’s emotions, but I wish this ebook sampler is much longer, and possibly gave a teaser of at least more than five scenarios. I got this for free via Kindle Unlimited but if I were to pay, I would expect the full ebook.

Seems to be a Practical Resource

I purchased the eBook version which does not include the entire book. From what I could see, it does look like to be a good resource for teachers, and even parents, who are looking to engage in conversation with children about emotions.

3 stars since the eBook is just a small sample and priced at $2.99 which seems pricey considering full eBooks go for the same price or less.

The characters are introduced to begin with - the profiles will be relatable to many children too. Complete with child friendly language, characters and discussion prompts - this is a perfect book for both families and schools.

Great introduction to emotions

At first, I was a bit confused, but after reading that it is only a sample. This makes a really great reference and teaching tool for kids to learn about their emotions and how to handle them and how to handle social situations. If you’re a teacher looking for social emotional learning tools. This is definitely a book to get…

go through different social settings with your child

A helpful resource to help your children talk about the emotions they are feeling. The e-book only provides a short sample, which I would have liked to see more of to continue the conversations with my daughter.
