Scarce first edition hardcover (no jacket). Lightly edgeworn boards and spine, with discoloration to the latter. Spine ends and leading corners are a little bumped and frayed. A few slight bumps to the board edges. Foxing and light tanning on the page block, pastedowns, endpapers and to a lesser extent, on the pages throughout. All text is clear and the binding is sound. Very good for age. Authorised translation by J. Murray Bligh. Preface by T.R. Bradshaw. CM
