A good book to read before taking a PHP exam, and easy to follow. However, I would highly suggest to NOT read this book anymore as it's old versions of PHP which are no longer supported and will make any modern PHP exam test harder.

This book is currently outdated but regardless if you have any questions about php this book doesn't seem to answer them, just go over what you should know with little to no explanation.
I have been programming in php for 8 years and still today get surprised about some of the commands that exist within php. This book goes over the commands with no explanation of proper use.
