Follow Me | A Study on the Gospel of Mark | 6 Week Study
Have you ever wrestled with doubt or struggled with faith?
Follow Me is an in-depth study on the gospel of Mark. The gospel of Mark is an invitation to follow Jesus. It invites us to step forward in faith, even in our weaknesses and doubts, and pursue the One who welcomes us into a relationship with Him. The book of Mark teaches us how following Christ is not a one-time action but a lifelong pursuit. Every day for the believer in Christ is a day to trust and obey the God who gave His life up for us.
This study is helpful to new believers and to those who are curious about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. But this study is also for those who are wrestling with doubt or struggling with their faith. The book of Mark provides answers for the curious, guidance for the new disciple, and comfort for the doubter.

This study was used for a home group series during the summer at my church. It's my first introduction to Daily Grace Co. I enjoyed it so much I've actually purchased several more studies to do on my own. The inside given daily is very similar to what you would find in a classic Bible commentary. Each day you're also given three questions to reflect on the passage you have read. The book of Mark is a total of 16 chapters and this is a laid out to cover all 16 chapters over a 6-week period. I highly recommend the study to help pause and meditate on the scripture, for a group study it's a great conversation starters, for an individual study it's very valuable. The only thing I did not like is that the end of each week there were questions to reflect on what you had read that week, but all six weeks was identical questions. Eventually I just skipped that page because I didn't want to answer the same set of questions over and over again. my ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Loved it. Couldn't put it down. I will probably read it again and it has a place in my library. ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Enjoyed it. Good characters, great story. if nonfiction, great information, interesting topic. ⭐⭐⭐: Liked it. Glad I read it, but won't read again. ⭐⭐: okay, I won't read it again, it will not be kept for my library. ⭐: I didn't like it, don't recommend it.
I love Daily Grace Co., but I definitely tend to favor the studies and resources written by this particular staff writer. I don't purposely seek her studies out, but when I'm into a study, like this one, in which the commentary highlights pieces of Scripture and context I'm particularly interested in I can usually guess who wrote it. Daily Grace Co sells studies, but to me they're more like devotionals with study questions (which is still amazing/edifying). This writer's content (along with a couple others) usually seems more on the study side.
I'm knee deep in the middle of the old testament for my yearly Bible plan, so using this study to study Mark on the side and it was refreshing and really encouraged me. This study helped me stay engaged and I highly recommend it!
