Prepare yourself for this super spicy romance from Mickey Miller. This book will make you laugh and also make you wish you also had your own cocky Jack Wellington to fulfill your every desire. Hate at first sight also had a nice twist at the end. Jack and Amelia will have you hysterically laughing as well as most likely blushing and wondering just how far Mr. Jack Wellington will go to make sure Amelia forgets any other previous relationship she had and only has her thoughts set on him. This was a super fun and hot read that I genuinely adored and would definitely love to read again. PS let it be known.. there are indeed anacondas in Costa Rica 🙃🧘♀️🔥 🌕

I’ve never been so glad to be on an ARC team……This book is a fast paced, page turner that hits all the boxes. The thin line between love and hate is totally there but it has romance, steam (holy moly does it…..the surf board scene still make my heart race). It has the ex trying to break them up and it has the grand reunion……Mickey hit a grand slam with this one! Looking forward to the next.

What did I miss? All the 5 star ratings... Never read this author, gave it a try but I just couldn't get interested. The FMC, gave off to many mixed signals, used the "I hate you" to quickly and I found no comedy within this story. Just all around disappointed. 2 star rating.

I was honoured to receive an advanced copy of this story and this is my honest review.
Amelia hits rock bottom when she loses her job and her boyfriend refuses to commit to a future, she decides it's time to take time out for herself by attending a yoga retreat in Costa Rica.
Amelia then learns that the very same CEO that had her fired lives where she was going to be based & is going to be not only on the same yoga course but also be her new roommate!
They say there is a very fine line between love & hate and Amelia is at war with herself because as much as she wants to hate Jack she is also finding he is growing on her. .... This leads to some incredibly hot antics that would set powder kegs on fire!!!
As nothing runs smoothly for Amelia the next thing she realises is that her Ex has travelled to try and win her back.
Question is who will win Amelia's heart, will it be Mr 🍆 or will it be Mr 🥜!!

Once again a hit by Mickey Miller. He just has a way with his books that draws you in and keeps you wanting more. This book is no different. Who doesn't love a hot millionaire and the girl who manages to get under his skin in a way he can't let go. HEA.

Character growth who? Jack and Amelia are CEOs of that for sure! Reading about Amelia as she struggles to find out who she truly is after her whole world is shaken up is truly relatable. Death and love and loss and a bit too much alcohol sometimes make for an interesting mix. Sometimes you really have to hit rock bottom to find out what you really want out of life.
And Jack, our handsome and somewhat mysterious main man. Oh jack, Once you thaw out that heart of yours, you become truly likable, even if you are a bit of a jerk at first. But What is he hiding? Everyone has a past and by the end I was really rooting for them both. Add in some tension and a gorgeous setting and you are all set.
The spice does not disappoint!! From face riding right out of the gate, to the shower scene and then in the same room with someone else, not caring about getting caught?! Wooo! I was blushing while reading it! I love the banter and teasing back and forth with these two.

**3.5 Stars**
Hate at First Sight is a fast pace romance. I did enjoy the back story and how the main characters meet. There is a lot of back and forth, words that could not be unspoken, and that under current of chemistry that had these two driving each other crazy.
The story line was there, for me, I found that it would quickly switch from one moment to the next so sudden. I felt like I needed to keep up with these two from one scene to next. But the essence of Mickey's writing was there and you will have a story that you will continue to enjoy. There is a lot of heat factor that will have you needing to turn on that A/C. The ending was exactly how I would have wanted it to end.
Hate at First Sight has a grumpy billionaire that will get under your skin with the love to hate.

We’re taking a break from fantasy romance and going back to my first love ~ Mickey Miller romance. 😊
I have been reading Mickey Miller’s books since just before the pandemic. This is a classic Mickey Miller book and I think his current followers and new readers will enjoy it. It is spicy in places and delightful in others. When it comes to the spice, I might have learned a few new things that had me reaching out asking what does this mean to a book club friend. My favorite parts were the yoga retreat in Costa Rica and the 🐢 turtles! I mean who wouldn’t love watching turtles be born on a beach in Costa Rica? That’s the thing about Mickey’s writing, he makes you feel as if you’re there in flesh. He made me feel as if I was on the beaches of Costa Rica watching people surf or little turtle be born. I can picture it all so clearly. I’m not sure what comes next for Mr. Miller, but I’ll follow along for the ride.

I've read most of Mickey Miller's books and this one was different that the others, but in a good way. It definitely has the 💥. I was lucky enough to be offered an ARC by the author and it did not disappoint.
There's that microscopic line between love and hate that's so evident. That along with the laugh out loud humor coupled with the steam & spice, left me wanting more.
A word to the wise, this book may not be appropriate to read in public. Silly me brought it along on a flight and ended up putting it away for fear of my seat mates reading over my shoulder....

Got an ARC and Woo girlfriends this is a spicy one.
What starts as hate simmers into a spicy aroma of hot sweaty shower scenes and kisses that take your breathe away. Love the location and the characters both have a little villain in them. I could smell the beach breeze and hear the jungle around me as I read this one. Grab a seat and dig in. You won't want to put it down. #HEA. #Enemies to lovers, #mustread.

This spicy read is hot, hot, hot. It took me a bit to write this review because I needed a cool down. I dove into this story and couldn’t even come up for air. It’s a page turner that leaves you wanting even more. Love the characters who will have you smiling one minute and panting the next. This is sure to be another hit that many will love. It’s one I will be rereading for sure.

This time the author takes us to a yoga retreat in Costa Rica where we meet newly fired Amelia who happens to be bunking with none other than the arrogant CEO Jack, who had her fired. Sparks fly and so do the insults, we definitely appreciate a good steamy romance and this one should tick all your boxes!

Hate at first sight, questo il titolo dell'opera, fa capire in pieno uno dei trope cardini del romanzo. Amanti del genere hate to love? Here I am!
Da cosa è nato tutto questo odio però?
Pensate di essere come Amelia, la protagonista dell'opera, che dall'oggi al domani si ritrova licenziata e senza una buona motivazione. Nessuna.

Quando l'hanno chiamata in ufficio pensava di star per ottenere una promozione, non certamente ciò che ne è seguito, ma una cosa è sicura. Non esistono coincidenze nel suo mondo, non quando c'entra Jack Wellington, il suo capo.
O dovrei dire ex capo?
Una cosa è certa, di fronte alle grosse delusioni se c'è una cosa che può aiutare è riguardare i prospettiva la propria vita, staccare, leccarsi le ferite e ricominciare.
Ed è ciò che ha in programma la nostra ragazza quando parte per la Costa Rica con l'idea di andarsene in vacanza per qualche settimana, ad un ritiro di yoga.

Personalmente il tempo è passato velocemente con questo libro, complice un inglese fluido e dinamico che ha reso la lettura facile ( Personalmente? Se volete leggere dei romance in inglese annotatevi questo scrittore, forse non se siete alle prime armi con la lingua, ma per gli altri... Godetevi il viaggio!)
Grazie ai Pov alterni comprendere ambedue le mentalità è facile, anche se posso dire che spasso essere nella mente di questi due? È palpabile come cerchi la nostra protagonista di combattere quell'attrazione, così come il nostro uomo cerchi di farla capitolare.
E come capitoleranno loro...
Non so se esista il concetto di dirty talking narrato, ma se esistesse come sinonimo potrese trovare proprio lui, questo romanzo.

Absolutely a awesome story. The idea for this book was simply amazing and this author has out done it for the storyline. First she loses her job and then breaks up with her loser boyfriend of five years because he doesn't want a real relationship between them with a future of being married. So she decided to go to a retreat and join a group to straighten out her life. She meets a guy who was her old CEO, which he didn't realize he had her fired, the company was doing lousy, so he let a lot of people go from that company. Anyways they meet on the island and get together and become friends. So, not to ruin this story for all of you out there in story land, you can read the rest of this awesome story. I hope this author writes more of these books. They are great! ENJOY!!!

She has met him before and quickly realized that he's the CEO of the company from which she was just fired. Jack ends up signing up for the retreat too hoping it will help him make better business decisions. Then they discover that they're roommates for 3 weeks. Lots of sparks fly but no hanky panky is allowed. Can they keep their hands and body parts to themselves? Hot, enjoyable story.

Amelia and Jack's story was very entertaining, fun the moment they met, all the way to Costa Rico and back to Chicago. I was able to relate to Amelia in certain ways throughout this book. I was also jealous of her going on a yoga retreat in a slice of paradise.
Jack is a little too conceited for my taste. He acts like a grumpy CEO billionaire but then also says certain things that make him look like a wanna be surfer. The mix didn't really work for me. And Amelia's hot and cold about her opinion of him was a bit much to keep up with and got a bit old after awhile.
I am glad Amelia was able to figure out her life after all the unexpected news hit her. She definitely smart and capable of taking care of herself and I liked seeing her strength.

But when her sister convince her to go away and do something she always wanted she didn’t expect the one person to be there. What happens next was a deliciously steamy romance story with two characters with a love/hate relationship. Will they find their forever at the end of retreat? Dislike the h
I got to 52% and the h was just getting worse. She kept telling Jack she hated him and wanted to be friends, then would kiss him or ask him how her arse looks. She is so wishy washy. They both acted like teenagers not adults in their 30's, but at least Jack was straightforward with what he wanted. I really try to finish books, I had to not finish one. At 52% I skimmed. She never redeemed herself or stopped sending mixed messages until close to the end.

Another favorite by Mickey Miller
I was blown away right from the start with Amelia! I love it when not just a beautiful but extremely intelligent woman brings a successful billionaire stud to their knees. I never leave spoilers but I can’t stand to read any before steering a new book. As always Mickey Miller creates a world most of us fantasize about! And Jack…whew! Total package even with the heartbreak that is still with him.

Jack is a grumpy, billionaire bosshole with a side of hot surfer. Amelia is a sweet, fun, good girl. These two start out butting heads in the best way. But when we start to see Jack's softer side (turtles!), my heart just melted. Then we get to the panty melting steamy scenes!! Oh, and that twist at the end! Mickey Miller brought all the things in this one. Go get it now, or else you'll be the one who fumbled the bag!

What a rush
This didn't disappoint at all. It was non-stop excitement I could not put the book down I read it all in one go. One of the best of Mickey Miller's books. I believe I might have to read it again. This didn't disappoint at all. It was non-stop excitement I could not put the book down I read it all in one go. One of the best of Mickey Miller's books. I believe I might have to read it again. Definitely wasn’t expecting all of that. Mickey didn’t disappoint with this one. I couldn’t put it down. The characters had great chemistry and banter, the spicy was really hot 🥵. I especially loved the little STFUACOTDLAGG quote 😉😏. If you’re looking for a quick spicy read I definitely recommend it.
