About the author

Else Byskov is an international authority on the groundbreaking work of Martinus (1890-1981), the Danish philosopher, visionary and mystic. Before she came across the Martinus material (comprising over 10.000 pages), Else was a convinced atheist for many years, so it came as quite a surprise to her when she became the author of a series of spiritual books. During a period of intense soul-searching and seeking more meaningful answers to life’s big questions, an astonishing dash of universal wisdom led Else to a book about the Danish Mystic – it literally fell into her hands. She was so enthralled by what she found, and the incredibly logical answers that she had never been able to find anywhere about life, death, and the mystery of both, that she had to tell people about it. Her passion was so intense that she wrote her first book, ‘Death Is An Illusion’, (a general introduction to Martinus´ fantastic world picture), and her body of work to bring the incredible Martinus wisdom to a wider audience has continued to this day.

Else Byskov is Danish, has two university degrees in Spanish and English philology and she writes mostly in English, so that Martinus’ work can reach a wider audience. Several of her books have been translated into Spanish, German and Danish. Else lives in southern Spain with her husband.

Since coming across Else's jaw-dropping book, Death Is An Illusion, I've been a huge fan and have read all her work. I'd urge readers interested in life's BIG questions to start with Death Is An Illusion, and then work your way through the rest of her incredibly enlightening, inspiring and frankly astonishing but so very logical books! I can't wait for the next one!

In this one, she carefully examines some of the teachings of Abraham-Hicks and draws enlightening parallels with the little known but extraordianry Danish Mystic, Martinus. More importantly, she shows how these spiritually enlightened beings compliment each other, even though Martinus was writing about the Law of Attraction as far back as 1932, long before the wonderful Esther Hicks was even born, and books like The Secret ever came out. Byskov points out that Martinus' contribution should be included in today's Law of Attraction literature and forums, and having read a raft of these book (and written one myself), I wholeheartedly agree. Whilst Esther Hicks channels the group of enlightened beings known as Abraham (and I am a huge fan of all the Abraham-Hicks material, as clearly, Else Byskov is too) Martinus experienced a deeply profound spiritual awakening at the age of 30, and spent the next 60 years of his life dedicated to writing about the universal knowledge and wisdom that his spiritual awakening allowed him to tap into. There was no question he could not answer, and when you discover that he was an illegitimate, uneducated and poor man, his revelations become all the more astonishing. The kind of wisdom and insights he wrote (he left a legacy of some 9,000 pages of spiritual wisdom) are all the more stunning... and believable, because how could someone with no education grasp the complex concepts that even highly intelligent people today might struggle with?

The author covers a broad range of all aspects of the Law of Attraction but she takes it far deeper and shares insights about the reincarnation process, karma, death, and so much more. Above all she always strive to help you understand, at a deep level, how powerful the law is, and how you can apply it to make your life better in so many ways. I can't recommend this book highly enough. This author and her work deserves to be at the top of every bestselling list out there in the spiritual, self-help and spiritual science genres. Absolutely outstanding.

I enjoyed this thought provoking book and the similarities and confirmation of ideas expressed through the more recent teachings and concepts of "Abraham"
Whilst the principle of the law of attraction is simple to understand it does require a reason to fully participate and really try it out oneself: After reading this book I find the reasons more compelling than ever to take action.
Take time to reflect on the wisdom this book provides and suspend your existing beliefs to gain the most benefit. I have certainly been challenged but feel sure clarity will follow as I quietly contemplate some of the concepts in the weeks ahead. This is a reference book of sorts and for me ... The teacher arrived because the student [me] was ready to learn more.
