From bestselling author Saxon Andrew comes Defending Eden. Humans were forced for the second time to flee their planet due to an imminent attack from an aggressive civilization. They decided the only way to avoid fleeing again was to find a planet where they could hide and not be found. They chose a world without oceans covered in forests with giant trees; they named it Eden because of the abundance of life and biodiversity. The climate above the trees was hot year-round and the predators that inhabited Eden were out of a horrific nightmare. Giant meat-eating carnivores, pack hunting predators, carnivorous plants, and huge poisonous snakes were just a few of the animals they would have to learn to survive against. After a thousand years, humanity learned to live and survive on Eden but now Eden was faced with the most dangerous predator in the galaxy, other humans. A starship has crashed on Eden and others were coming to investigate. One of the survivors of the crash is the future Queen of the most powerful planet in the galaxy and the ones looking for her intend to make sure she’s dead. The humans on Eden are now faced with having to defend Eden and staying hidden was not going to be easily done. This is one of Saxon’s best books and the action starts on the first page and doesn’t let up. So buckle in and hold on; this is not a book easily put down.
Excerpt from Defending Eden:
Tick stared at the massive tail and saw the tip of it was moving slowly…. And then it stopped moving. That meant Leo was passing overhead. He energized the energy sword, rushed out, raised it over his head, and swung it viciously down on the giant tail cutting it all the way through. Leo stopped in the branches overhead and saw Tick wasn’t running away from the trunk after he cut the tail off. He moved against the tree and pressed himself against the trunk with the energy sword raised above his head. TICK, DON’T BE STUPID!! Leo thought as the giant stomper gave a deafening roar and rose to its feet.

These are allegedly a series of books, but in reality are standalone stories, bearing no relationship to any of the other books in the series. This one is quite clever, does not go in any of the directions I expect it to and keeps you 2nd guessing, what happens next It's very worth the time to get to the end, in this case,.I wish there was a 2nd related bool
I liked everything about this book....I would recommend it to young adults first because they love action and romance . Then I'd recommend it to all of us older folk(I'm 81) who love sci-fi action and romance. The ending was unexpected and o Wonderful that I was sobbing and saying "YES" .... Saxon Andrew is my king of authors .
The storyline is a well crafted blend of sci-fi and paranormal magic, set in a universe far, far away. Good character development, an intriguing plot with a few dramatic scenes of conflict, plus lots of humor and some occasional snark. Ends on a positive note, leaving the reader with a promising future.
I can enjoy this writing style and I hope you can.
I find too many plots revolve around one mishap after another and it becomes all about overcoming exhaustive misfortunes. They can be intriguing but I catch myself wanting a more reasonable plot. This story tricked me. Delightful.
Another fantastic book. As always a terrific story and characters and writing that is filled with emotion. I hope this universe continues. Saxon's stories are always about good people doing the right thing. The world needs more people like this.
This is one of the best books that Saxon Andrew has written I have all of his books. The story line ha a wonderful interesting plot with intriguing characters.
Normal Saxon formula for a story. I think it is the characters and how they develop. There is usually a twist to keep it interesting. Very enjoyable read.
A very good book to read I enjoyed the entire book the characters were good the plot was good I recommend this book to anyone that loves science fiction
