I have an interview in a couple of weeks and so I went to the library yesterday and picked out some books about interviews - this is the thinnest and lightest of the four and so I read it first as a introduction to the topic.

Good points:
- It seems to touch on pretty much everything I want to know
- The structure is conducive to getting the information over quickly and easily
- I was encouraged to think about how I would answer specific interview questions
- It's light enough to read whilst walking, but heavy enough to teach me stuff.

Bad points:
- The questions at the end of each chapter are nonsensical and unhelpful
- There are too many cartoons taking up too much space - and they're not even funny.

Overall, it's a well written, well presented, light read that addresses the major points without going into too much depth; so - as I thought: a good intro to the subject.

Really clearly written and not too overwhelming with the information (unlike other career type books). It hits all the usual points - i.e., doing research, self-discovery, confidence, interview question practice - but the "Sunday to Saturday" structure is great. It flows naturally from one section to another.

A useful little book, this is one I'll have to hand the next time I get an interview for a new post/job.

Liked it.
