Just what the f*ck??!!! That cliffhanger!! Just why????!!! My heart hurts, just when everything was looking up for them.
Okay let’s back track a bit. The Fallout picks up right where we left off in The Wanderers and secrets are revealed. Overwhelmed with everything that has transpired, Athena takes some space to collect herself. We get some more backstory on her history and what happened with her stepfather and how it still affects her to this day. And with Louis still “missing” and her being linked to him brings back nothing but bad memories of her past. Despite this, Athena finds peace with The Wanderers. Or at least she thought, there are things behind the scenes she wasn’t made privy to yet and that throws a wrench moving forward. In the end, words and stories are exchanged and wounds are starting to heal and all is right with the world… until Archer 😒 Archer happened and now everything is a mess and my heart is on the floor in pieces and now I must impatiently wait for the next book in the series whilst trying to mend my heart in the process 😭😫
I absolutely freaking love this story! I knew after reading book one that this was going to be one of those stories that you just never forget. A story that will leave its mark on your heart. Book two did not disappoint. I adore these characters, I love how unique each personality is and loved seeing the relationships between The Wanderers and Athena evolve. Athena is such a strong character and seeing how she was able to set aside her fear so she could listen to her mates because she knew how it felt not to be heard just had me feeling so much pride. My heart completely broke for each of them as we see their love for Athena and their mate bond take a hit. And Samara. Ooooo Samara. I definitely fell in love with her more and more throughout this story. Her journey with loss, grief and guilt had me feeling it right along with her and I LOVED how Athena handled her with such unconditional care and love. I loved seeing Orpheus’s walls come down enough to show Athena she was cherished by him even if it was difficult. Also, dominant Silas….. CAN WE SAY HOT 🥵. I am sooooo excited to see where Laz and Silas’s relationship goes as this story continues. Perfect story for Pride month too🌈 also… ARCHER….. got my theories on that one…. I’ll wait to see where that goes lol

I’m so grateful that I got this arc😍 I read the first book only a few weeks ago so I was happy to receive the second book as I needed more of Athena and her vampires 💀 The book starts where the last book ends so we are thrown into the action straight away😍Athena has just found out that Vampires exist and she is mated to four of them🙈 I love the characters and LGBTQ+ representation. Each character is so unique and I love their relationship with Athena and watching it grow. So much spice 🔥🔥 That cliffhanger 🥲I need to know what happens! This is the perfect book for pride month 🏳️🌈
Again there are many content warnings for this book just like the first one so fair warning ⚠️

This book fits seamlessly into the first one. She even connects the two by showing the last scene which I love!!
This book ended on another major cliff hanger. But I did love the story. Especially with Samara and her internal battle of her chosen one and her mate. My favorite part was when she heard her chosen one’s voice in her head after the long battle and it was a relief. Silas and Laz were ready since the beginning of book one and I am so happy they finally got to complete the mate bond they were so sure about. But I gotta be honest my favorite is Orpheus. He had such change and he was ready to leave with Samara leaving his mate behind I mean god!! But this book was amazing. I loved the world but hated the hunter and how he got close to Athena.

The cliffhanger?!!? And to know I have to wait until June to get the third installment??? That was the worst… But I really enjoyed this book. It picked up really fast from where the first book left off and I really enjoyed the emotional components Between the FMC and all of her lovers. You learn a lot more about the back stories of all of them, which really helps the reader feel an attachment to them. I can’t wait to find out what happens next, especially with the hunters and nameless. Also, I’m wondering… Is archer her brother?? Because I have a feeling her dad is leader of the hunters….hmmmmmmm

I'm so friggin' hooked on this series, it's insane.
I wanted to scream at Athena while she took her time accepting that her Wanderers were Vampires. Though, I understood her hesitance.
I cheered so hard when she started giving in to each vampire. But then immediately grew angry at Samara and Orpheus. And I cried so hard as Samara told Athena her story.
And that ending?!?! UGGHH!!!
This book took me through every. Single. Emotion! Now I'm going to wait impatiently for the next book because I NEED Archer to get what's coming to him!
The introduction of Archer threw me a bit, seeing into his mind while he is essentially the enemy. I feel sorry for him, but not sorry enough that I'm okay with how he acted. I loved how Athena, after taking time to process, gave the Wanderers the chance to explain because she knew what it felt like to have people not give you the benefit of the doubt. They finally overcame all the relationship hurdles, then the Hunter stuck his nose in and *BOOM* that cliffie. Urgh. I am enjoying the story and need to see how they get themselves out of this mess.
This is book 2 in a 4 book series. Triggers warnings: talk of rape, physical assault, kidnapping, death. We start this book right where book one left off; Athena finds out she has 4 vampire mates. She has a budding friendship with Archer & Greg is out to get her over his missing friend. This book ends on a cliffhanger, with Athena being taken captive by Archer, whom has also kidnapped the 4 of Athena’s Mates. (She knows for sure he has Silas, as she see his tattooed hand in the bed of his truck).

So I went into this thinking the series would just be a duology. It is not. Not unhappy about it, just my dumbass not knowing things. I love it when there's FF in RH series. Quite literally my only complaint is that I don't understand the asher pov's. I'm like 95% sure he's not going to be part of the harem so not sure why he has his own chapters but idk. Liked getting more wanderers background this book. Would absolutely die for Laz.
I started this series after watching the authors TikTok. She describes the series as an adult twilight or basically if you enjoyed twilight then you would enjoy the series. She was right. I have really enjoyed the two books so far and can not wait for the next one! I wish they were longer. I’ve finished these in 2 weeks. Love all of the characters as well!
I enjoyed the pacing in this one even more than the first book of the series. The beginning was a little slow, and I didn't care much for the Chapters from Archer's point of view, but they grew on me as the story progressed. There's subtle intimacy between characters that starts to grow in the second half of the book that I really enjoyed, and I think it's leading well up to what might be coming. It ends on a cliffhanger though, so be ready for the next book!
AGAIN, I cannot get enough! This book had me thinking which lover I would want to choose, in the middle I was struggling because each one has something, and thankfully it’s a why-choose story so you don’t have to choose! You get all of them! The twists and the ending have me on the edge of my seat as to what will happen next!!!
An amazing continuation of the story of Athena and her Wanderers. Seeing Athena work through her fear and realizing the importance of giving the Wanderers the opportunity to explain themselves was amazing. This book is full of beautiful expressions of love, and a lovely variety of viewpoints of exploring trauma and grief. Nikki knocked it out of the park yet again!

Nikki did SO. GOOD. I’m a sucker for fated mates! I love how they are so protective. I really appreciate getting the back story on Samara and why she is so hesitant. The spice is so good!
“Being broken doesnt mean you do not deserve love.” 🥹
the vamps in this book are hotter then hot. Orpheous simping on his knees just hits idk. Silis and laz, don’t even get me started. Samara is a precious angel and deserves all the live in the world. Archer can kiss my ass i hate him i don’t care if hes “misguided, “ do better.
4.25 star read. I really regret being in a reading slump while trying to get through this book, especially since I genuinely enjoyed it. I first read The Wanderers last July as a palate cleanser between a longer series I was reading, and now returning to this series with The Fallout feels surreal. It’s particularly special because when I bought the first two books, I had the chance to meet Nikki Robb, who was absolutely amazing. If you're after a book that combines elements of Twilight and The Vampire Diaries while still being unique, then this one is for you. It’s packed with plenty of spice, intricate plots, and secrets that I’m eager to unravel. The cliffhanger at the end took me by surprise, and I can’t wait to dive into The Hunted right away! Nikki I did in fact NOT survive the fallout.
Sooooooooo, when does book 3 come out???? I can't with cliff hangers! I legit read both books 1 and 2 in one sitting, today.. super good series and I can't wait for the next book! So if anyone has any ideas on when it's coming out that would be awesome to know!
I NEED THE THIRD BOOK NOW!!! I’m hooked and that cliffhanger has me itching to know what happens next! This is so well written, this author is quickly becoming a new fav of mine. Perfect LGBTQ+ rep, found family, spice, and so much more! Oh and vampires of course😌
3 1/2 stars i honestly skipped a lot of the flash backs i get it, it’s sad but other than that i enjoyed it! i just wish more had happened in this book but that ending ??? i can’t wait for the next one!
THAT ending?!?!? ..... Ermmm Nikki Robb you are certainly the queen of cliffhangers!!!! I cannot tell you how much I've loved this series so far!! From the dedication to the last 'I'm sorry'!!! .... Where is book three please?!??
Definitely full of spice. I feel like the first and second books should have been combined. I also feel like the plot progressed a lot faster than I expected. I don’t feel like I know the characters well still.
I Need more reverse harem with FF, it was written so well, I cried. And I love that they didn't really push the FMC away which some characters do, it was a very good read and not so anxiously awaiting the next one. Definitely recommend!
