The family farm was suddenly Del's with the taxes way overdue. Foreclosure was imminent and Del's older brother wants the property so he can turn it into a huge mall. Overwhelmed, he walks out on his family and goes to the only place that gives him beneath the old walnut tree by the creek, where he has spent thousands of hours fishing with his late father. As he approaches the sacred spot, he is saddened, and sits beneath the tree looking out at the water. But his father returns to him in the shade of the walnut tree, and helps him to reaffirm his faith in people, God and the power of prayer. With his renewed emotional strength, and guidance from his father and other ancestors, Del is able to save the farm, make new friends, and bring a new level of faith and renewal to his family.
